At the age of 18, fueled by an unyielding desire for adventure, I set off on a journey through Asia and Eastern cultures, fully immersing myself in a myriad of experiences over eight profound years. Along the way, I sustained myself by working in different bars across different areas. Eventually, the allure of Australia's Gold Coast enticed me, offering happiness and a sense of belonging. However, the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic upheaved my plans, leading me back to Canada. It was in the vibrant city of Calgary, Alberta, that I found a new sense of home and community.

As the pandemic swept the globe, I recognized the oncoming demand for hygiene products and swiftly pivoted to launch a soap company, striving to meet the pressing needs of the hour. Yet, amid the chaos, I couldn't overlook the surge of home-based candle companies flooding the market, all presenting minimal differentiation beyond simple labels and fragrances.

Motivated by an intense passion for technology and innovation, I eagerly embraced the upcoming wave of laser technology, envisioning its capacity to transform the candle industry. Marrying my technological passion with my entrepreneurial spirit, I founded a custom candle company, offering personalized candle jars that captured the hearts of customers.

Witnessing the reluctance of customers to part with their cherished candle jars, I conceived the idea of a two-step pillar refill system, allowing them to effortlessly replenish their jars from the comfort of their homes. It was then that a powerful epiphany struck – the untapped potential of candles as a potent advertising medium.
